All 2011 IIEMCA Conference presenters and attendees are required to formally register for the conference.




The full registration fee includes access to all conference sessions, the conference pack with the program, the conference reception event, four lunches
and daily coffee breaks.
The Conference Dinner fee includes dinner as well as bus transport to and from the medieval town of Gruyères, where the dinner will be held.

Advance Online Registration (from February 14 to April 17, 2011)

Additional Conference Dinner for a guest: CHF 100

All prices are expressed in Swiss francs (CHF).

All deadlines are expressed in Geneva time (Central European Time: GMT +1).

* Participants in this category must send an electronic PDF copy of their current student ID card or a document from their school certifying their student status to ( If this proof is not received within 10 business days of the individual's online registration, his or her registration will be canceled. Students will not be officially registered until the organizers have verified their student status. Students registering on site must present their current student ID card or a document from their school certifying their student status upon their arrival at the event.

To support conference attendance by international students, the organizers are offering a limited number of individual international student Conference Grants of up to CHF 1,000 each, to cover travel and accommodations. To apply for this grant, send the following items in PDF format to ( by May 1, 2011: a letter of motivation, your curriculum vitae and a letter from a professor presenting your research and/or studies.

Refund policy
If you have to cancel your registration, you must notify us at by June 12, 2011 to receive a refund of your registration fees (minus a processing fee of CHF 75). No refund requests will be accepted after June 12, 2011.

Conference cancellation policy
The organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel any or all of the activities associated with the Conference if unforeseen circumstances so require. In the event that they must unexpectedly cancel the entire Conference, the full registration fee will be returned to each registrant.
